  Hotel was nicely decorated and we received a warm welcome. To start with everything seemed good until we went to use the shower and found hairs, it had obviously been cleaned but not cleaned well enough. The top corner of the mattress topper was damp also. Went down in the morning to ask for a bottle of water from the bar, stood for a few minutes waiting while staff members ignored me. When leaving, went to drop the keys in the key drop box and the receptionist was on us like a rash I guess to make sure we had paid ( which we had) which wouldn't of been a problem if they hadn't ignored me earlier. Not writing this review to trash them as we did enjoy ourselfs. All in all I would stay here again, reasonably priced - you get what you pay for.

  It's basic but was clean and within walking distance to centre of Aberdeen and train station. Checking in was prompt and room if was fine, comfy bed and decent price for a 1 night stay.

  Excellent location for the train station at union Square, which also has good shopping and food outlets. Handy for Union Street too. Comfortable hotel. I've stayed a number of times and intend using it again
